and deserves all the credit for taking us out of mediocrity to the mountaintop but I think we all see that, much like the Bowden years at FSU, a whole lot of the hard work was being done behind the scenes by the staff. Losing Scott and Elliott and even ole Robby Caldwell has been devastating to this offense but the biggest loss has been BV. BV was the heart and soul of this program. He wasnt perfect but he demanded perfection. He was Dabo's slightly psychotic wing man and they balanced each other very well.

It was a great ride!

Gave up 28 points?

Simple math.

Defense was playing not to lose the whole fourth quarter. You act like Miami was an offensive juggernaut, but they were playing with a freshman QB in his FIRST start.

I agree. It wasn’t just the D. The O definitely left the D on the field too much.

I said it then and I’ll say it again, Dabo should have been promoted to AD and BV to HC! Dabo could have continued to influence the lives of young men, promoted Christian values and watched the program he built thrive. Sadly, now he will have a front row seat to the end of it. It’s going to be year to possibly never before we get back on top again

Won’t ever be back there. Maybe a top 10 team occasionally and get in 11 team playoff but not on a regular bassi’s like before
