Not sure if any of you were able to see the video of the CV interview but if so what was your take. Seemed he was frustrated with getting no reps.

I am excited about this overall group. Looks like we have the skill level, as a group, we had in the 2016-2018 years.

which means game reps were going to be limited.

That said, as a former student-athlete who lived through something similar, it can be a difficult adjustment going from being one of the best players on your high school team, in your state and, in his case, in the nation, to getting very little playing time or recognition.

There's no question, it's challenging and impacts your demeanor and confidence, but his time will come and he knows it.

… especially against some of the teams in the early games. He should have gotten on the field.

I also went through this and it shakes your confidence to the core. When you practice just as hard as everyone else and don’t get on the field, it is very hard to get through.

I heard his frustration in the interview. I hope Dabo plays him a good bit or he make seek out greener pastures after the season…

I wondered a few times last year why he wasn’t out there as well. Trust the coaches know best but I got the sense he felt a few reps was warranted. My hope is he continues to push Cafe, earn his time and becomes very successful. Appears he will have a huge OL ready to go when his time comes.

He was frustrated because he loves playing, but he understood. He wants to play. I hope he gets plenty of PT this season being the #2 guy.
