7 iron to the center of an early 2007 iMac after the AUB loss I believe it was. Somehow, it survived and only needed a screen replacement. Thing is built like a tank.

I think in the middle of all that I temporarily broke up with my girlfriend, too. Fun times.

Ripped up my season tickets after we lost to Wake Forest under Tommy Bowden. That still cracks me up a little.

LOL, that is pretty good. Probably more expensive than my little adventure, but I can't remember how many ganes were left when he got canned. 3 or 4 home games?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah, that sounds about right

Feb 24, 2015, 2:30 PM

...probably 3-4 games left on the schedule. I had to watch the FSU game in Tigertown while most of my Clemson buddies and fellow season ticket holder-buddies watched from Death Valley.

By the time the game was over (we won, of course) I didn't even care where I watched it, beers made up the difference.

I too was at that game

I've never been that mad after a Clemson loss. Bowden conceded defeat in the middle of the third quarter. We were already down 21 or 28 and had driven into Wake territory. When faced with a fourth down, Bowden elected to punt rather than go for it. Guess he didn't want to give Wake good field position. It didn't work. Wake marched right down the field and scored. The final was 45-17. I was livid. If I'd been the AD, he would never have been allowed on the team bus. Losing is one thing, but conceding defeat to Wake in the third quarter is unacceptable. Of course he went on to beat FSU the next week, go figure, and then destroy SC 63-17 to save his job. As well as the season ended, I'll never give him a pass for conceding defeat to Wake in the middle of the third quarter.

Well, she wouldn't quit complaining about the traffic and it was 1:00am.

She started giving us second-by-second accounts of everything going on in Lot 10 after the Georgia game in 2013.

But, this time it was 2:00am, and I was tired. Plus, I had to sing a solo at church the next morning. I was stupid for agreeing to do that.

After catman missed the 2nd field goal attempt in the auburn loss, I stood up and threw my unopened beer across the room. It exploded against the fridge. The bad part was when I did it, I tripped over the coffee table and bashed my head against the tv stand. I was temporarily knocked out. My friends didn't know what to do lol. This was during my college days

Cursed out drunk SC fan in downtown Clemson

Feb 24, 2015, 2:44 PM

My sophomore year in 1968. We had lost to SC 7-3. As I recall, SC returned the opening kickoff of the second half for a touchdown. It was Frank Howard running Buddy Gore left, Buddy Gore right, and Buddy Gore up the middle in a cloud of dust. Clemson was driving for a winning touchdown late in the game but Buddy Gore simply ran out of gas. After the game I was in downtown Clemson across the street from Dan's (now Subway) while traffic made the left turn off HW 93 onto College Avenue leaving town. A bus of SC fans made the turn and this obnoxious drunk guy was leaning out a window harassing the Clemson fans and having too much fun doing it. I lost it, stepped into the street, and starting screaming cursing at him. He simply laughed at me as the bus drove away. I'm sure the other Clemson fans on the street were shocked and embarrassed by my behavior (that was not something one did in 1968), but it made me feel better. That was my first experience with a coot, and I've hated them to this day.
