CU vs Alabama

Jul 31, 2015, 1:38 PM

I've never been to Alabama. Can someone inform me on the non football aspects of the school such as campus, academics, culture, etc. I'm sure it doesn't hold a candle to CU in those regards.

Very prominent Greek life, questionable academics, culture is mostly football and Greek life, not a bad looking campus though

Surprisingly nice campus and town...

I've been to Auburn and Bama. Bama is obviously the big brother.

Good tailgating, but it's crowded.

Complete strangers saying Roll Tide to each other as you walk.

Stadium is huge and well built.

My son is a rising junior Musical Theater student at Alabama. Alabama has been a good fit for him. The Alabama folks are very cordial and accommodating during orientation. The campus is pretty and the people are friendly. The football stadium amenities (i.e. bathrooms) are the best I've ever experienced. My son is an ADHD kid and they've done a good job accommodating his needs. However, I'm proud to be a Clemson grad and supporter.
