COOTS AT WORK…

Yesterday, two Coots at the desk next to me, smirks on their faces:

COOT# 1: South Carolina has TWO #1 teams in the nation in basketball, both the men’s and women’s teams.
COOT #2: Yeah Tiger, how’s your basketball team doing?

ME: Hey, it’s December, and we’re still playing football. By the way, Clemson has TWO football teams in the top 2 of the nation.

COOTS: (looks of total confusion on their faces)

ME: We have the #1 team in the nation in college football and the #2 college team in the nation in the global sport of football, known as soccer!

COOTS: NO WAY!!! They then feverishly looked it up on Google, shook their heads, and then, if you can believe their stupidity, said, “OK then how is your women’s soccer team doing"?

I just shook my head and laughed.

I occasionally see one "working" a drive thru or delivery service but seeing 2 at the same time seems odd.
