I mentioned this on a response deep in another thread a few days ago, but thought it might interest some.
A couple years ago, a high school classmate of mine’s daughter was sexually assaulted by a young man named Bowen Turner, who had other assaults on his record. Turner, the son of a probation officer (SCAR grad), was represented by Senator Brad Hutto (another SCAR grad), and the case went nowhere. The young lady later committed suicide. Through the efforts of the victim’s father, Turner eventually got some measure of justice, but only after receiving several slaps on the wrist and receiving preferential treatment under the law.
FWIW, Hutto’s law partner, Charles Williams, is a former SCAR BOT member, who is another “interesting” character. I know all of these men well.

FYI, Williams was married to late Federal appeals judge Karen Williams. Judge Williams (one of the good coots) was a great person and a great judge; a person I truly admired. After she passed away, he married an associate in his firm who was about 20 years younger than him.

I think Hutto is trash; I am giving reasons why. Dallas was a close friend’s daughter. Her parents want the world to know about this case.
While I agree that this is not a Clemson/SCAR topic per se, it speaks to the character of the man. Sorry if the post offended you or your sensibilities, or anyone else’s. But I would not have hesitated to tag every member of her family, if I knew they had TigerNet handles. I am close friends with the whole Rast/Stoller family.

out and verbally assaulted the female arresting officer. He's raped (3) young ladies in (3) different counties and only got a slap on the wrist. Having a lawyer-legislator can allow you to do pretty much anything you want. This was exactly what Alex Murdaugh thought when he hired #### Harpootlian...didn't quite work out for him tho. The Dallas Stollard case is heartbreaking, I've heard that teachers and others in her community made her life #### before she ended her life.
