I have always liked the ACC (not the tarhole mafia, but the schools and the old geographical footprint), but times change.

I hate that big money is what drives everything these days. But that horse has left the barn.

We have to move on. I hate the idea of travel out West for the Big 12, but at least those schools care about football. If we stay in the ACC, we're resigning ourselves to irrelevance.

Swofford had the opportunity to solidify this conference when this round of expansion started but was seemingly the only commissioner who did not recognize that it was FOOTBALL that predicated it.
I have a pretty good feeling that before recruiting is over we will be in a different conference.

They say we are in talks with SEC. SEC is NOT talking to Clemson. It cannot happen. Anyone who knows football knows this.

Since everyone is predicting four super conferences in the future why don't the Presidents and athletic directors take the bull by the horns and divide to Country open 24 to geographical conferences. That would preserve all the rivalry games by region
