I thought ours wasn't that great but Michigan's is absolutely terrible. Looks like they have all of 300-500 people there.

It wasn't half the size at 10:00 as it was at the end... unbelievable when it went off the air.

I was legitimately embarrassed at the beginning when I saw hown few people were there. It was really bad.

At the start our crowd was pitiful. Much better at the end but it started out very poorly

The reason I say our's wasn't that great is they were talking like we were gonna see a record Gameday crowd and it was pretty far from it, especially at the beginning. Looking back on it though, we put Michigan to shame
|

Ours was huge. Even at 9am it was big. Not sure what you were watching.

And sounded loud from the beginning. The Gameday crew even commented on what a great crowd it was.

I was at our gameday from well before the start until the very end. I made my way to the very front and had a great time. I do agree though at the beginning our crowd was small but when noon came around the whole field was covered in orange. Great site to see.

Comparisons to 2006 Gameday crowd are not valid

I think many of those who are saying our Gameday crowd was nothing to be proud of are probably comparing to our crowd in 2006. It made a huge difference then having all of the Homecoming displays and Habitat House right next to the set. For bystanders to actually see the Gameday set in 2006, they had no choice but to crowd in up close which greatly helped the atmosphere. I think we had a similar crowd this year, but it did not appear that way due to the fact that we were more spread out across Bowman.
