Coaches come and go

With the passing of another ACC coach, has anyone researched how many ACC coaches have been fired/quit/retired since Dabo took over? The press has covered the Saban-effect in the SEC with coaches leaving or being replaced because they can't keep up with Alabama, but what about Dabo? He has set such a high standard that fans and schools get frustrated when they not only can't keep up, they aren't even close. Miami loses in the ACC championship by 30+ and a year later, Richt is gone....the Best is Standard.

I don't think losing in last years Championship had anything to do with Richt's decision to retire. It has been reported for several years that at some point he and his wife were going into some Missionary work overseas.

The only ACC coach with more tenure than Dabo, by a couple of months. In fact, the only Power 5 coaches with more tenure than either of them are Saban, Gundy, Pat Fitzgerald, Mark Dantonio, Kirk Ferentz, and Kyle Whittingham and at the same school. That's almost insane to consider! Eight coaches with ten or more years...nationwide.

We killed the Morale in miami last year and that definitely rolled over into 2018 with their putrid season. They are way better than a 7-6 squad talent wise

likely would have included replacing his son Jon, Miami's QB coach. IMO that's why he retired.
