Asks for 5,000 fans to donate $1,000 apiece so we can "recruit, retain and develop." Calls coming week "maybe the worst week in college football" with portal opening.

Dave is one unique character. Sad the NCAA has let it come down to this.

I'll never understand how any true Clemson fan could have anything but contempt for Dave Doeren.

one of his best coaching jobs.
They ran the table after the BYE week, made adjustments, etc.
Dealt with some QB shakeup stuff also.
But they are 9-3 and will probably be top 20 in the CFP poll.
They actually played a tougher conference slate than most...they missed FSU, but had
Clemson, UNC, Duke, Louisville and had to travel to Blacksburg (not easy this year).
They also played Notre Dame out of conference.
He still lacks the ACCCG appearance on his resumé.
I keep thinking a team from the BIG10 will make a run at him as coach...but
maybe he's destined to stay in Raleigh.
