Personally, I think that every team that Passed on DW4 that needed a QB should be FIRED bc they had witnessed DW4 being the best battle tested QB in the draft two years in a row and turned their back the other way when they had the chance and passed it up!!!

I was completely baffled by all of these guys from the teams that passed on Deshaun all the way down to the draft "experts." Deshaun was the best QB in college football the last two years hands down. Shoot, he was probably one of the top three the first time he stepped on the field as a true freshman. I didn't watch any of it but Tnet articles said he outperformed all the other qb's by a good bit during pro day and was the best in the combine. It's pretty bad when even gamecock fans I know can't understand why Deshaun was not the first QB taken in the draft. Those guys that passed on Deshaun should all be fired.

the sweet irony of all this of course is that Deshaun

is in a MUCH better situation in Houston than he would be in Cleveland. He might well be struggling in Cleveland simply because he'd have no offensive line and nobody compelling to throw to. In Houston, he at least has some time to read the field, and normally he has a couple of receivers who can give him windows to throw to.

That has a lot to do with his numbers as well. I think he'd look really solid in Cleveland but he looks like a future rookie of the year and a guy who may be in MVP conversations in the future if his numbers keep looking this way.

He wound up in one of the best spots for him, though.

Houston (before this week's injuries) basically only needed a QB and an OL. They're going to be a playoff team for the next decade assuming DW stays healthy.

I hope he accounts for 6 TD's and sets the rookie record against Cleveland.

Todd Mcshay is still trying to justify his negative comments about DW4.

They all start their double talk all over again when they finally learn what a dumb A$S they had been, when they were leading the people that truly didn't know how incredibly good and talented DW4 really was. And they have poisoned the thoughts of millions of minds about DW4. No matter how many times they admit how wrong they have been about DW4, that damage has been done!!!

I'm stoked that DW4 landed with the Texans, and the Texans is where I wanted him to be a receiver as Nuk and some of his close friends from Clemson. DW4 landed in a perfect place as far as I'm concerned!!!

This post made my night. I live in a sea of Buckeyes and Browns fan in northern Ohio. I have laughed at my buddies for this draft mistake and the bowl "performance" more than any human has a right too.
There are three QBs in NFL history that have thrown for 4 TDs in 3 consecutive games. Marino, Brees, and Peyton Manning. Watson has 2 in a row and faces Cleveland next. It would be TOO PERFECT.......

They have too many holes. Should have traded their first round pick for as many picks as they could get.

^^^ That's what I'm thinking. I had two team that I wanted to draft DeShaun: Houston or KC. I have no beef with the Clevelands and Chicagos of the league; on the contrary, I think we owe them a "Thank you".

Deshaun not attending the senior bowl influenced some...may have been the best decision,of many great decisions, the young man has made. Falling to a team that is equipped with offensive weapons and a defense was masterful.

I don't doubt for one second that all of Tiger nation is happy and satisfied for where DW4 fell in the draft bc, him going to the Texans was one of the best things that could have happen with him. But there is a General principle issue with him not getting drafted as the best QB on the board bc it's a fact that he was, and I do want them all to suffer watching DW4 taring the NFL up with the type of young man that he is loaded with talent as a QB. If they don't admit they dropped the ball by missing out on the best QB in the country, H&LL yes, I hope they lose their job and become tainted for not knowing great talent when they see it. A QB just don't play the same Bama team that WD4 did twice, and come up 5 points shorts of winning both those games, and throwing for over 400 yards in each of those games, and not be the best QB in the land two years straight. Plus DW4 has a 34-3 record in his college career playing in two NCG's with beating favored Oklahoma 37-17 and OSU 31-0 in the college playoffs. It's amazing at how can NFL coaches and owners be that stupid and blind when it comes to picking proven rookie talent!!!

I have a buddy who was born and raised in Cleveland. He told me that he hoped the browns would not draft DW4, because it would ruin his career. I trust his judgement.

No, anyone that watched Watson play knew he was special. Maybe they need to do more evaluating and watching and less listening to McShay.

DW is in the best place for him. 5 of his Clemson buddies right there with him. A decent running game that's getting better with Foreman. Now that Obrien has DW there, he can focus on the defense next year in the draft and the trenches. Their defense needs retooled, especially with their latest injuries.

Perhaps they could buy some flame throwers for their entrance off of ebay?
Put a big Brown chicken behind a shower curtain?
Check they could just change their name to gamecocks ... Carolina Gamecocks Cleveland Gamecocks ... nice ring to it.
