Clemson's Path to the ACC Championship:

I may be a moe-ron (to quote Animal House) but is there a path for us to the ACCG?
I know it's a long shot but I am under the understanding that we can make it; but what has to happen?

We win all of our remaining ACC games and all other acc teams lose all of their remaining acc games. There may be other paths but that will be the less travelled one.

I may just be being pedantic but I don't think it is possible for all the ACC teams to lose all of their games. Just sayin'

Someone else already went through the scenarios in a post over the last week or so. The bottom line is we have to win all of our games and 3-4 other teams have to drop at least 2-3 games for us to have a chance.

Clemson- Win out
Louisville - Loose to Duke and Miami
Duke - Loose to Florida State and UNC
UNC- Loose to Clemson and Miami
Miami is out with a loose to us regardless of what they do the rest of the way.
UNC can not loose more than 2 or else they would drop from our tiebreaker with Duke and we need them there. Any one else can loose other games and it just clears the picture more.

I thought duke or fsu would have to lose 3 for us to jump them? They beat us head to head and thus would be in over us in a tie breaker if they only lose two and we win out.

You are correct. Here's the simple simple:
We have to win out
Duke needs to lose 3
L'Ville needs to lose 2
Miami and UNC need to lose one - aside from losing to us

Check that, Miami's loss to GT takes them out of that line as they already have a loss. So we need UNC to have 1 loss outside of to us.

FSU and Duke is the only two that would need to lose 3. If all others lost 2 and we were the team that gave them one of their losses, we're in over those teams. Unlucky for us that we lost that FSU game, that game should have been our win, we had a couple of easy chances to win a couple of times before it ever went to OT!!!

I left FSU out of my equation above because they're not going to lose 3, Duke may however; esp if Leonard misses a few games.

FSU & Clemson have to win all Conf games then
Louisville - Loses to Pitt, Duke Miami (3 losses get them out and not have to rely on the Clown of a Conf criteria in case of a tie)
Duke - Loses to NCST FSU UNC
UNC - Loses to Clemson Miami
NCST - Loses to Clemson
Miami - Loses to Clemson
GT - Loses to Clemson
