It is all hinged on the defensive pressure we put on our opponents this year...if our OL protects #10 we are gonna force teams to keep up ...and if the defense is top 30ish and forces turnovers we could beat every team on the schedule. Would love to see the defense stifle UGa in the opener and allow for a 2 td margin of victory . We shall see...

The stars have nothing to do with it.
A national championship is 14 games(Clemson will need to win the ACC Championship to even have a shot).
Game 1 is UGA.
Game 12 is USC
And that's just the regular season.
Clemson can't afford to be caught looking ahead!

improvement from the defense. And I'd have to see that Sammy truly was back to freshman season form, or better. He had way too many drops in Spring Game. I'd also have to see that Martavis truly was ready to step up and be as good as Nuk. I believe he has all the physical talent in the world, and if he stays focused he can be all world.

Most of his drops happened because the ball as under thrown and Sammy had to turn around, stop, and try to beat our the coming DB for the ball.

play covering Sammy and batted the ball out of Sammy's hands on one play...that was very encouraging to see a DB do instead of tackle after a five yard gain...
