Well good news is Miami & ND don't seem as daunting now after yesterday

Bad news is their losses definitely took luster off any potential wins against them to boost the Tigers' resume & try to climb back up good in the rankings

Resume doesn't matter. Clemson could win out and not be ranked inside the top 15. The polls have nothing to do with a team being good, and everything to do with selling a product. ESPN votes up SEC, NBC, Fox, CBS vote up Big 10. No one else has enough votes to get ranked very high. They were happy enough with Clemson being ranked to provide "variety" but now FSU has that title. Clemson needs to play for Clemson and stop worrying about polls.

Well - this was the coaches voting

Maybe it’s because there are more SEC and BIG 10 coaches?

Why I hate these polls. Texas beat Bama but are behind them. ND has looked very average other that Mavy game earlier on but they are still ranked after two losses and should have a third.

I know. I don't like it either. It's al because they played Ohio State very close. A top 5 team.
