Clemson United Returns to ACC Play on Friday

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s soccer program returns to the pitch on Friday evening, resuming ACC play against No. 21 Louisville in a 7:00 p.m. matchup on ACCNX.

Both teams are coming off midweek wins this week, with Clemson downing Winthrop, 4-1, on Tuesday and the Cardinals taking down Kansas City, 3-2 on Monday. Louisville is 1-2 in their last three ACC matchups, while the Tigers are 2-1.

I was wondering the same thing. That term comes from the uniting of two or more soccer clubs into one team.

Game is in Clemson. If coming for homecoming, join the fun at Riggs

Maybe mention whether the game is in Clemson or away in future.

I’m surprised that the Athletic Dept allows them to refer to themselves as Clemson United. The Clemson brand is Tigers and the Tiger Paw. Drop the United crap.
