This and the VaTech series are so important for Clemson to get the quality wins that haven't been on their schedule this year compared to other teams.

I would say the 2 wins against Northwestern and the 1 win against UGA both are quality wins. Both were top 10 teams and UGA is back in the top 10 while Northwestern is moving back up quickly.

Record vs RPI top-25:
OU 14-0
OK State 7-1
UCLA 17-4
Tennessee 9-2
Clemson 3-1
It's pretty clear that Clemson's resume doesn't stack up to the rest of the top-5. Get two series wins vs FSU and VaTech, and I'll feel much better about our seeding in the big tournament.

Cagle is a star but I would submit McKenzie Clark is a close second. She hits for both percentage and power, has excellent speed on the base path and in the outfield and has an absolute cannon for those who decide tagging up is a good idea.

No, if she continues to preform at this level she'll be the hands down NCAA Player of the Year. Only one player above her in BA is comparable in Batting. The girl from Wichita state lead the nation in batting last year and is still batting above 500. although they play Oklahoma State today. Depending on how that goes her BA could take a big hit. The Stanford Pitcher has a better ERA but has pitched half as many innings. Take into account she's only 3 HR away from the leader. She had a slump of almost 3 weeks and about 14 games that she didn't hit a HR. It should be a very interesting rest of April and May.

If would be hard to find a better player at centerfield in college softball than Clark. Speed, power, arm strength (and accurate). They are all an elite skillset.

I'm not sure *anybody* compares to Shohei in baseball, but Cagle sounds like she's cut from the same cloth. Being that dominant on both sides of the ball is insane to me.
