That's 3rd in total attendance. Since we've had far more home games than a lot of teams, that achievement is misleading. For example, we've had 16 home games compared to Oklahoma's 6.
The achievement looks far less impressive when put into context. I'm trying to find the average home attendance stats.

When it comes to softball attendance there's Alabama and then everyone else

Alabama has an average attendance of 3,778. A thousand more than 2nd place Arkansas at 2,715. And, Arkansas is 800 more than a group of 12 teams in the 1,500-1,900 range, led by Arizona.
When Alabama has every program except one at least doubled in attendance, that's pretty impressive.
One thing of note, according to the capacity numbers the NCAA provides, Alabama's stadium is only 2nd in max capacity...that crown goes to Charleston Southern's field with a capacity of 4,000. No doubt 3,800+ is standing room only.
