In the latest projections ESPN has us as a 7 seed matched up with 2 seed Tennessee in Charlotte. It would be nice if Clemson got to play close to home. Does anyone remember if we have ever played near SC in the NCAA Tournament?

I know people are upset how the BC game went but if we played in CLT do you think Clemson would have a good turn out of fans?

Do you think it would really matter? We didn't exactly hold home field advantage in Littlejohn.

If the product on the court is good, they’ll show up. If not .. they may opt to stay home. It’s easier and they can just change the channel later in the game to avoid watching the another embarrassing loss.

I’m pretty sure in Horace Grant’s senior year (87) we were a very high seed, played in the Omni in Atlanta, and got beat in the first round.
