The 14-team field includes seven from power five conferences and seven from non-power five. The power five teams include Clemson, Virginia Tech and Boston College from the ACC, Kentucky from the SEC, and Indiana, Nebraska and Maryland from the Big Ten. Other schools in the field include Chattanooga, College of Charleston, UNC-Wilmington, Augusta, Lipscomb, Elon and Campbell.

The 14-team field will begin play with a shotgun start on Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. Clemson will play with Elon and Maryland and begin play on holes 11-14.

Clemson’s lineup will be led by senior Jonathan Nielsen, who had a 70.82 stroke average in the fall. He had a sixth-place finish at the Blessings and an eighth-place at the Golf Club of Georgia this past fall when he led the team in Top 10 finishes. He posted a team best six under-par rounds among his 11 rounds and finished the fall four-under-par overall.

Alberto Dominguez will be in the Clemson team lineup for the first time this year. The senior transfer played in two tournaments as an individual in the fall and posted a 71.67 stroke average. He had a career best 65 at the Ka’anapali Classic while playing as an individual when he finished 15th.

Sophomore Thomas Higgins also will be in the lineup after a 72.64 stroke average in the fall for his 11 rounds. The native of Ireland was Clemson’s top golfer in the final tournament of the fall at the Ka’anapali Classic with an eighth place finish.

Kian Rose, who has 23 career under-par rounds, most among active Tigers, also will be in the lineup for Byrd’s Tigers. It will be the 25th tournament of his three-year career. Austin Scott, a sophomore, will play the tournament as an individual.
