Clemson grads in top 50 for ROI

Jul 10, 2013, 11:10 AM

Here's an excerpt from a news release. The last sentence is particularly important.

"Clemson University is one of the Top 50 public U.S. colleges in the return on the investment in a degree, according to a new ranking.
The College Database said the 30-year return on investment in a Clemson degree is $409,200.
The website set out to find the post-secondary institutions whose graduates enjoy the largest earnings gap between non-degree holders over a 30-year span. Only colleges deemed public institutions by the Carnegie Classification system have been included. Clemson is the only South Carolina university that made the list."

That's really good for Clemson considering it's one of the more expensive public schools in the nation. If Clemson could get enough state support to have the same in-state tuition as UNC they'd be near the top of the list.
