I will start doing this each day in preparation for our game vs Ohio State. Starting tomorrow I will be doing 2 a day until I catch up and then 1 a day. If you have any personal memories or reflections on said bowl game then please contribute.
January 1, 1940, Clemson 6, Boston College 3
Jess Neely and the boys went down to Dallas and knocked of the BC Eagles led by Frank Leahy. The crowd of 15,000 were entranced by the defensive battle.

One great bowl game i loved was the 1951 orange bowl vs miami. * good tie in as we're playing in the orange this year* clemson scored two touchdowns, but an extra point was blocked *sort of like in the chik fil a game last year* and miami came back to go up by a point. Miami was backed up on their goalline and a clemson defender tackled the miami runner for a saftey to go up 15-14 and win the game.
