Christmas Eve day service this morning was

amazing. Our church has had continued growth over the last few years. We have 4 Sunday services and usually it is about 1200 people. Today it was pouring rain and there were no parking spots, people parked along all the curbs, in the grass fields and double parked like myself. There was so many people that they set up 200 chairs in the lobby. People standing in the halls and in the aisles of the church. The belief of God and the search for something more is still alive. Praise God for showing me the power of himself and even in a miserable day outside, there were many who sought shelter in His peace today.
I know not everyone believes as I do. I can respect that decision. Honestly, I would rather be wrong than for me to be right. To all Merry Christmas and do not forget the true meaning of Christmas.

not sure why you would rather be wrong. If I understand what you are saying, if you are wrong that may mean we do not have eternal life. Glad your church had an amazing service overflowing with people.

Sure I can explain that. I believe 100% in the Lord and what he did for me on Calvary. I am glad I can know where I am going when I pass from this life. However, as much as I believe in Heaven, I believe there is Hell for those that do not ask for forgiveness. I do not want anyone to have to go there, so to be wrong, then no one would ever face an eternal hell and torment.
If I was wrong then I lose nothing, but for others……

Thank the Lord for that. However, a respected pastor once told me that when a church is successful, Satin will walk in the front door and sit on the front pew. Keep the faith and unity in your church.

Likely to be very true. In my long life I have met MANY front row Christians who I would not trust in an outhouse with a muzzle on! If money is involved “the lord takes a rear seat! But it makes a great front row seeing it filled with true believers.

My family also attended a wonderful service today. Our oldest son became a Senior pastor in May of this year. The church attendance was about 65 when he assumed this leadership position. In 6 months with energy and love, the church is now at 85-90.Today he delivered his Christmas sermon in front of 127 people! They also Baptisted a family of 3 that joined the church this year. I'm not sure of everyone's specific faith, but as people the goal for all us is to positively affect as many souls as possible in our life time. Today his mother and I could not have received a better gift than watching our oldest son have an impact on so many lives! Merry Christmas and Go Tigers!!
