Ehhhh. I've got to disagree with you. This call in particular really sticks out as one of the worst of all-time. It's a great play in the fourth quarter of a tie game and this is the best he can do?

It's funny you and I posted the same exact play within minutes of one another with the same complaint. He really was bad when it came to play-by-play. Hopefully he's better this season.

I like Rece Davis and think he'll do a great job. However Fowler was great on Gameday.

Where I don't like him as much is a play-by-play announcer. He doesn't seem to follow the game. The most egregious display in one of our games was the play below:

Williams made a fantastic catch for a 40 yard gain to the 2 yard line and Fowler didn't show one tiny piece of emotion. I would understand if he missed the catch and then said something like "wow, I didn't even think he caught it", but there was nothing. I want him to succeed and think he's put in his time and deserves a shot...but you need more out of your primetime play-by-play guy. Hopefully this season he improves.
