Man. Y’all turn on a player in a heartbeat! It’s a good thing Rittman’s the coach! Considering a .964 fielding percentage it appears coach knows who to play where. Logoleo is only a All-ACC shortstop. SMH. The shortstop position is usually the best athlete on the team. Logoleo is fine.

There’s no doubt somethings missing. In Cagles absence the girls played loose and free. With her in the lineup they seem to be forcing the issue. The at bats aren’t as high quality as we’ve seen from top to bottom.

We’ve also seen a decline in pitching. Cagle isn’t the dominant ace she has been. Spencer has become the dominant day one starter. McCubbin has struggled with confidence issues and given up far too many runs. We only have one pitcher who’s dominant. That’s kinda the biggest difference. Spencer has a 0.60 ERA and everyone else’s numbers are horrible. Millie Thompson and Cagle both are closer to 2.00 albeit a little under. McCubbin is very high. Great teams start with elite pitching.

There’s nothing wrong with our fielding percentage. It’s above 96%. Maybe closer to 98% is ideal but that’s not our issue.

Maybe.
