The current model sucks and it's only going to get worse. Here's what should happen:
Separate football from other sports. They don't deserve to suffer because of football.
Current P5 molds into one super conference, regionality determines schedule.
This super conference ACTUALLY HAS A COMMISSIONER.
For the transfer portal, you may enter once with immediate eligibility, but after that you lose a year.
Each team has an NIL salary cap to prevent teams from buying success.

This is by no means perfect, but it prevents further deterioration of the sport we all love. Go Tigers, beat UK.

no one up there cares about the sport. They only care about money and power. Do you really think the conference BOTs and Commissioners will just vacate there power and high salaries for the good of the sport?

That’s what got the NCAA in trouble in the first place. You can’t tell someone what they can and can’t do to make money on their image.Schools currently are not even allowed to be giving money out as it is. It’s supposed to come outside of the school

Doesn't football bankroll all the other sports? Basketball may break even. All others are a cost.
