Championship game third party selection

With the new tie breaking third party that the ACC will be using, what are the thoughts on using that to select the best two teams in the ACC to play in the championship game instead of using records in the divisions. The ACC could remove the divisions and we could end up playing some of the better teams in the ACC more often. I don't think this would happen and don't really like the idea but just a topic that was being discussed at work with others.
