sometimes you have to accept he wasn't good enough. McElroy is sitting in a booth talking in funny suits and won more games than anyone and national Championships at Bama. He has a similar story as Tajh. Julio Jones, Amari Cooper Trent Richardson, Eddie Lacy, Mark Ingram, several oline in NFL
Tajh had a supporting cast unlike ever seen at Clemson based on stats, consistent rankings, and NFL players today. Look at the NFL receivers he had Sammy, Martavious, Nuk, the list goes on
You cant have it both ways - Hey look at all the NFL talent we have today - Oh why isn't anyone picking up Tajh?
If no NFL team wanted him and he had his chances with the Jets and Steelers, maybe he wasn't that good overall.
Sure he was a great college player and was part of the best Clemson teams in history - although he may be outshined by Watson in a year or so or even this year. I have never heard a Bama fan whine or complain about McElroy not making it in the NFL. He had a chance and wasn't good enough. I think it says more about how truly exceptional his supporting cast was than it does about him
Good guy great for the university but not NFL caliber QB -
