Cause I'm bummed..

and can't make it to the game today. Stuck down in Florida with the inlaws doing vacation! But anyway, I mentioned yesterday about the chalk festival going on here, well I went back down town this morning and I was really blown away. They actually closed off a whole street and painted it with some sort of blackboard looking material and the artist began yesterday in order to finish Sunday for the festival climax. Some off the 3D drawings of animals and such make you feel like you are standing right with them. Holes that you could walk right into. Dolphins that look like they are splashing water right towards you. First time I have ever saw in person such talented chalk artist. Go tigers and I will be watching from an uncles house (Florida State Fan) around Tampa.

Really neat stuff. Like sandsculpting, there is something really awesome in the non-permanance of the piece and the artist's willingness to accept it's destroyance.
