CataWHOla - a word for you

I'm going to let the beast have its way so please, take this as an intentional slam against you - it is intended to be just that. Why? Not because I don't like you, and not because we have differing opinions on, well, everything, but simply because you don't know how to have a conversation.
And you make yourself to be an internet "hero" fighting for the suppressed and those most deserving of your assistance. And you do it so ugly - twisting peoples words and then standing on some premise that you have "proven" your point when you have only proven one thing - you are a bully who screams the loudest. Probably had your lunch money taken from you in school on a regular basis and now you think you are getting even.
Well, since you are so very able at taking other peoples words and twisting them to prove your point - and even throwing in the insults and derogatory comments about the individual you are "not" conversing with, I have a suggestion for you....
Since, again, you are so good at using other peoples words, why don't you write a book? Oh, wait,....nevermind. You did that too. And with other peoples words and ideas too.
Never an original thought on your own.
Hope you can forgive me. If not, just get over it and put me on ignore.

The Butthurt are just striking out in fear. It's been a tough few weeks for them. I'm guessing Hunt wrote this post with angry tears flowing down his cheeks.

He offered me a beer, but I was barely 18, so I lied and said I was Mormon. I don't know why I did that.
He was a nice guy.

But if we had, I'm sure we enjoyed a few cold ones. I'm more fun in person than on here. Usually.

I always love when people pretend to get ballsy behind their computer screen. If I may, sir...
I'm going to let the beast have its way so please, take this as an intentional slam against you - it is intended to be just that. Why? Not because I don't like you, and not because we have differing opinions on, well, everything, but simply because you don't know how to have a conversation.
Slow clap, especially since you purport to be such a devout Christian. Not a very Christianlike post, is it? See, this where you are wrong. I can very much have a conversation, but I don't throw my pearls before swine with some of the people here. It's more fun to needle them. Because years ago, I tried to have civil conversations, and those people behaved like amplified ###### bags.
And you make yourself to be an internet "hero" fighting for the suppressed and those most deserving of your assistance.
Nah, don't consider myself to really be a hero. Unless we're talking about my BBQ. That's heroic.
And you do it so ugly - twisting peoples words and then standing on some premise that you have "proven" your point when you have only proven one thing - you are a bully who screams the loudest. Probably had your lunch money taken from you in school on a regular basis and now you think you are getting even.
I usually took my lunch to school. Not a lot of good options in the cafeteria. I did work out a pretty good bartering system when my mom made me baloney sandwiches. Oh, but back to your point. I didn't know we could hear volume on posts here. Could it be that you just simply disagree with many of my points, and you lack the ability to respond to or refute them? How come when I refute many of y'all's ridiculous claims, you can't respond to them? Is that being a bully? Boo hoo.
Well, since you are so very able at taking other peoples words and twisting them to prove your point - and even throwing in the insults and derogatory comments about the individual you are "not" conversing with, I have a suggestion for you....
Hey HuntClub, did I insult you in the past? Did I do something to hurt your feewings? Are you not a grown man who can just hold your own in an argument? Are all of you not grown men who can do this? The more time I've spent on Tigernet, the more I notice this: it's filled with grown men who act like supreme babies behind a computer screen. Grow a pair.
Since, again, you are so good at using other peoples words, why don't you write a book? Oh, wait,....nevermind. You did that too. And with other peoples words and ideas too.
Ahhh, here we go. Now we got to the meat of it. Whipping out that personal attack! I love it. Yeah, I did, and it wasn't very good, I admit. I had a life goal to publish before I was 25, and I did it. In hindsight I'd love to go back and redo it, but we can't really do that in life, can we. But, I am happy to say that I wrote another book that was published under a pseudonym, and it gets great reviews, so I'm pleased with that.
But you know what I did do, HuntClub? I was man enough at just the age of 25 to put that out there with my real identity and take my licks over it. And I did something that only three percent of Americas ever do in their lives. So who are you, HuntClub, and what the hell have you ever accomplished in your life?
Ah, but you say I used other people's words and ideas, huh? Are one of the other nancy cowards from the old days feeding you stuff via TMail? That doesn't surprise me, either. They were all some of the tiniest, saddest little guys you could ever meet. But that's fine if you want to accuse me of that. It isn't true, it doesn't hut my feelings, and it doesn't really matter what you think if you didn't even read it. I suspect you didn't, and I won't recommend it, either. Like I said, I admit, it wasn't my finest work. But again, it's likely more of an accomplishment than anything you've done, unless, of course, you want to quit hiding behind your username.
Never an original thought on your own.
I'm quite certain 10 years ago, this post might have upset me. Like many younger folk on a message board, I would take these jabs personally. But now I've got a pretty iron-thick skin, and I couldn't care less about what the biggest ####### on Tigernet think about me as a person. And you want to make a specific personal jab at me? Have at it, brah. Just remember that you're one of those ####### as well if you do so while hiding behind a username.
I mean, what else ya want? I'm pretty bald for my age. Want to make some jokes there? I've done some pretty stupid stuff while drinking in the past. I can give you those if you're that desperate for personal info on me.
Hope you can forgive me. If not, just get over it and put me on ignore.
Nothing to forgive, cause I wasn't offended. And I don't put people on ignore. That's what cowards do. But you're welcome to go ahead and do it to me if my posts bother you that much.
Or, I suppose, I could have saved all of us some time with this:

Your BBQ is heroic?
Jun 30, 2015, 1:38 PM
|
|
Well then, maybe we could have a time for a truce. At least while at the table one day. And I don't make balding jokes, for my own personal reasons.
As far as my Christianity is concerned, please look at me as someone who is still "Under Construction." (That is the truest sense of the concept of being Christian and I find areas that need "fixing" everyday) Warning! There will be materials falling from the heights at times - and I'm not talking about my hair.
What have I ever done?
I have been married to one woman for 34 years and I, too, have written a book. Working on number two now - and neither can be used for marriage counseling. I served the US Navy for nine years; been on mission trips to inner city Chicago and Romania, and I am a living organ donor - contributing a kidney in 2003. I have raised two children who I am very happy to call family. One has a master degree in micro biology and works for Baptist Health care and one is now in his 14th year of service with the USAF - headed to Korea on Friday. I grew up in Walhalla, love lake Jocassee and running those hills. And I love Clemson athletics. No, I did not attend Clemson - that dream I never realized. So, what have I ever done? I have lived. I have lived through good and bad and have learned to take it one day at a time...but not always so quietly as I should. But, that too is life.
That is just a portion of what I have done.
And, oh yeah, you care.

Heroic may be a strong word for my BBQ
Jun 30, 2015, 1:56 PM

My wife hesitates in complimenting me TOO much over it to keep my ego in check. But she's quite a fan. Prefers when I do vinegar sauce.
Well then, maybe we could have a time for a truce.
I don't consider us needing any "truce". I didn't know we were enemies. We disagree on a message board. I don't even know you. But you're the one that made an attempt to make it ugly and personal.
I have been married to one woman for 34 years and I, too, have written a book. Working on number two now - and neither can be used for marriage counseling. And I applaud you for that life you have lived, sir. It sounds great.
Now, 10 or so years ago, what I probably would have done is try to look up personal info on you and attack you for the life you live to get you back. But I don't live like that anymore.
Just remember that you're the one who opened that door, and probably over some BS one of these little sniveling weasels TMailed you. You seem like an alright dude, Hunt. Let's not make message board disagreements dissolve into something stupid.
Good luck on your writing endeavors.
