Neither was Brian Dawkins but that turned out okay. I personally am okay with the coaches giving this kid a look. If he is worth it then fine offer him. If not let it go and RN will survive.

In a telephone interview Sunday, Nkemdiche said Carter’s recruitment would not affect his commitment to the Tigers.
“Of course I would want to play with him,” Nkemdiche said of Carter. “But if it doesn’t work out, I’ll still go to Clemson.”
Nkemdiche said he never demanded that Clemson’s coaches pursue Carter; he said Carter joining him at Clemson would simply make a good situation better.
“I didn’t give Coach Swinney an ultimatum about anything,” Nkemdiche said. “I hope he doesn’t feel obligated to offer anybody a scholarship because of my commitment.”

I am not a coot , clemson 86, Computer Engineering. I don't think the coot school had this program then..
Ok -- first post and I don't get chewed out, improvement!!
I trust Dabo and he will do the right thing. However, it is one of those things that if we do offer him, the whole nation will think that it is payout to RN. Screw them at the end of the day and our Dabo will do what he has to do and right to Clemson. So I am hoping that he does not cut it, RN is signed with Clemson, and the rest of nation can just eat $$$$. That is my hope as a Clemson orange blooded fan.

package deals have been around since forever..Anyone who knows anything about recruiting is not surprised by this and anyone who is surprised, hasn't been following recruiting very long. (paraphrasing)
Just ask Alabama about Julio Jones (5*)and Robert Lester (2*).
In other words, this looks worse than it is, and will be forgotten quickly.

Your problem is that you don't like Dabo. It's been an ongoing thing with you and amandakissandhug.

to whom? whoever wanted,and didn't get nkimdeche (sp?). arkansas gave a prospects coach a job, uga gives cars , usuc gives free hotel rooms, stipends ,get out of jail free cards,parents of propects jobs,etc., so why not give a teammate a schollie? which of these would you rather have your school do?

How can you say it's a five player deal? If RN had commited first, I might think so, We already had 2 players that wanted to play together, he didn't have to commit. The QB asked for a TRYOUT as a walk-on. The way I look at this is we are doing a 2 for deal...and heck yeah I would offer that.

Redfern??? I have yet to see you get upset by the many egregious sins committed by usuck. No comment on usuck hiring Alshon Jeffries' dad to work for the athletic dept while Alshon was stilla recruit??
And I seriously doubt Clemson would be the first to have 5 players from the same HS team to play on the same college team.....you'd need to provide a link for that.
But I do wish to hear your comment on the Jeffries' hiring by usuck's athletic dept.

A number of college teams have had 5 players from the same team.
Besides Schuessler is a walkon and coming in this year - he's in a different class.
