2008 F150, dead AF. Bought GooLoo jumpstart thing we all discussed last week, worked like a charm. Immediately jumped the truck and it ran. Then it cut off. Jumped it again, ran for a couple minutes, disconnected the jump starter. Let it run, drove it around the block, zero issues. Cut off and then it will not restart. Jumped a third time, no issues starting with the jumper, let it run maybe 10 minutes, tried my hand at measuring the voltage with a multimeter but I am too stupid to use that apparently. Got "OL" on it but couldn't figure out how to change the range, but that is another issue.

Anyways, after I cut the truck off and tried to crank it, not much and then dead again. Like it wanted to turn over, but it wouldn't then nothing.

So am I looking at a bad battery or an alternator? I have no warnings on the dash. Is there a good way to determine this? I am thinking of just taking the battery out and taking it up to an AutoZone or something to let them test it. Anything else I should be doing besides fucking myself or eating a bag of dicks?

Take it to autozone and get the MAN (not women) behind the counter to test it

If you get a nice loud pop and impressive spark, your battery is/was charged.

How old is the battery?

My first thought was alternator but I'm not sure it would drive with a bad alternator. My guess is the battery or the starter.

Is a starter a car part? IDK, I'm terrible with cars.

Good alternator won't charge a dead battery in a few minutes.

Maybe after a few hours of constant windshield time, but go ahead and charge the battery. Then get it tested by AutoZone or whoever.

Good luck.

A good alternator doesnt need a battery to keep

Leave it running, have them come out and test the battery. If it's not the battery, it's almost invariably the alternator. Battery is easier to change than alternator. Fortunately, it's not your Pilot, because getting the alternator in and out of that thing suuuuuucks.
