......into Twitter. I understand ppl have their own political and medical views but we haven't as a nation been so divided in recent times. I know my opinion doesn't really matter but I'd like to keep the one place I do enjoy on the interwebs to things we love like the Tigers and this country. I'm tired of seeing our country torn apart by our own politicians. We have turned ppl who are supposedly our representatives into celebrities and our friends, family and local citizens into enemies because they don't believe what we do. We have to quit letting them tear us apart. Together we stand, divided we fall is the American way . Let's quit fighting over differences and celebrate our likes. It's the 4th of July for goodness sakes and we live in the greatest country in the history of the world and root for the best university, let us remember that.

I over all agree with your sentiments. However, no one is forced to go on the Politics board, COVID board or even the Basketball board where things can get pretty chippy at times.
Airing honest differences of opinions is as American as apple pie and is a good thing in my opinion. What needs to stop is disparaging someone for having a different opinion and personally attacking that person.It's good to provide documented facts when something isn't factual too.
This is a wonderful country to live in. It's not perfect, but there's no place on Earth I'd rather live even if I were gifted a mokki in Finland.
I love and support Clemson academically and athletically. I along with my 3 kids share a bond as grads from Clemson. We have collectively bridged the gap between my wife and their mom for her youthful indiscretion of choosing to go to that school that worships a chicken.
There is indeed more that we all have in common than what we have differences over and I think most of us in our personal lives recognize and embrace that. I agree the 24 hour news feeds and social media have helped to create a less harmonious environment, but let's continue to have dialogue and debate while attempting to keep it civil.
Civility is what is missing from the equation.
This July 4th, let's all celebrate our Independence Day! It's not really our Independence Day as it was essentially a we quit notice to King George III and required years of war to convince the Brits to let us go in 1783.

Board would say some things of the things they do here in the real world lest they experience actual consequences.
This whole board is dominated by edge lords (myself included) who don’t actually believe half the crap they type. And if they do, well we’re much worse off than I thought and the Tiger fan base is full of losers and retards. I don’t believe that to be the case, though. It’s all funnin around and message board nonsense.
