Yes I think both deserve 20 touches a game and both get better as the game goes on

I don't agree with this. Mafah is bigger and stronger and has better vision. He should get 20 carries to exhaust a team. Shipley is the switch up, receiving back, sweep guy and should get more touches once the defense is gassed. Give him 15 touches a game. He really is good once a defense is tired. Mafah is better for tiring a defense.

The reason people say that is an extension of "the backup quarterback is most popular guy on the team" syndrome. "

It's different because those two were seen as more equals. People get frustrated here because it's clear Shipley is the coach's favorite, even when Mafah is playing better. Davis and Spiller were also very humble young men, while Shipley is not, to say the least.

I think Shipley was the favorite for most of the season, but it should be obvious by now that this has changed with Mafah starting and getting plenty of carries the past couple of weeks
