Don't have a satellite to take to game so thought about streaming I know I cane arch ESPN wanna watch ga bama game on cbs

I cannot say for certain that you won't be able to use chromecast with CBS, but I doubt it.

Anyway, if you had a Slingbox (the 500 is best for HD streaming) and an internet connection at the game, then you could hook up a laptop, connect it to your Slingbox, and use an HDMI cable from the laptop to the TV for better viewing. It has an on-screen remote once connected.

You'd probably need a hotspot type of internet connection.

But you probably just want to use your iphone/android and cast to the TV. I do that often, but I am usually watching ESPN3 on my iphone and cast to the TV. I've never tried viewing CBS on the iphone and casting.

Maybe do a trial run on Thursday night football if CBS has any sports on that night. I think NFL (Balt/Pitt is on CBS). Give that a shot.

There's a NBC app that lets you watch NBC sports (after authenticating with your cable provider), just like the WatchESPN app. I assume the are CBS and ABC apps as well.

I used the NBC app to stream the game to my TV using Roku last week.
