Cade, we had the DJ experiment for 2 years...he's better off where he is now in a dif enviroment and system that suits him. Cade still doesn't have a full season of starts.

Probably Cade only because he doesn’t seem to have DJs dark place and still has room to improve.
OSU DJ seems pretty fully developed and same long delivery mechanics.
Both have great skillsets but some noticeable weaknesses.

either would need massive help from WRs and Oline.
you saw at ND in 2020 what DJ looked like the last time we had some semblance of WRU still intact.
Yes, Cade has some growing and maturing to do, but unless we get back to "WRU status" it won't change what you see that much...........we lack explosive playmakers bigtime..............that's why a change in QB and OC didn't move the needle that much offensively. There were/are a multitude of offensive problems and only a couple were "solved".

CK. All day. I realize DJ is having a good year at Oregon State and there's a buzz around that. But if you watch some of the clips, he's still a big, slow, immobile system-dependent QB.
Cade has a much higher ceiling. Yes, he's making mistakes. But I think learning from them, too. I do not see him competing for a Heisman because Clemson's not that kind of a program, but he can win a lot of games if he sticks with it and they stick with him.

I'm sticking with CK, to change would mean our suffering was for nothing. Hopefully he'll learn to spray his hands with stickum, I have bad dreams about seeing the ball on the ground, then I wake up to a replay on TV of him putting the ball on the ground!!!!

Cade. I may be wrong, but it seems his third down production is way above DJs. That's what I loved about DW4 and TL16. With them, third down was closer to being a hit, rather than a miss. However; like I said, I could be wrong.

Is this a serious question? I know DJ is 7-2 with his new program, but it seems like he still has some of the same issues. And I don’t miss his off the field baggage.
Maybe it is true that Clemson just wasn’t the right fit for DJ, and I’m glad he is happier where he is, but I would take Cade over him 10 times out of 10…especially with the final third of the season under his belt. While he has been somewhat turnover prone, many of those turnovers were not CK’s fault.

Right now he's about the same as DJ was for 2 years, but he has room to develop. DJ basically is who he is at this point.

Cades had his issues but his sophomore season has been much better than DJs so I'd go with him based on potential.

Cade without question … for the ppl talking so highly of DJ and how he’s “flourishing” at OSU have obviously not watched a snap other than maybe a few highlights… cade has WAY higher upside and he’s in his first season… DJ is in his 3rd full season of college football it’s not even a comparison. Compare cade next year at seasons end to last year DJ with us to have a real comparison. But I’m taking cade a 1000 times over again bc of his upside and he has shown what he’s capable of he just has to get a little stronger and once the game slows down a little for him he’s gonna be very dangerous, he has all the tools.
