It's one thing to get out of the GOR etc. But will everyone have a better landing point. Deep down I think we are ok, but would feel better with a guaranteed better spot.

1. I don’t believe ANY team would file without a landing spot in the Power 2.
2. I believe FSU has a spot, hence the filing.
3. There is NO WAY all of these teams have landing spots, so this report is probably complete BS.
4. If Clemson doesn’t file soon, it will be because they do not have a landing spot.
Better hope Clemson files soon.

I’ve got no doubt we’ve got multiple landing spots if we want them. If we were coming into this in the Bowden years, it’d be much more hairy, but with the investment, success, facilities, fan base, and most importantly, ratings, I think we’re sitting pretty.

This is not true at all. Some of the teams in the ACC are more than willing to move to the Big 12 which at this point is a step up. Clemson is in good position with both conferences. The final conference just may want Clemson for reactionary reasons instead of first pick. Clemson will not be left out.

If all those schools support it, couldn't they vote to either dissolve the conference or GOR rather than all file suits? I don't know the ACC by laws but it would seem to be a more straight forward approach than going through a legal battle that might not work out in your favor.

I think they should wait and see how Fla. St. comes out. If the Seminoles win, then pursue the lawsuits. Would save a lot of legal fee money.

They (FSU) will get out of the ACC. The only real question is how much it will cost. The reason to file is simple- You can't move on to a competitive conference until you leave the ACC.

Our conference is competitive just not as much so as the SEC...and they have weak sisters as well! Want issues look at the PAC whatever...everybody wants out even with no place to land...Face it academically FSU had no business being in the ACC..NIL & Portal just means let's buy a team of non student athletes play em for 2 years and send them away! FSU needs more money to get those...more crab legs...Semiholes have been one train wreck after another...should be big buddies with ESPN!

This conference is a joke when it comes to football. Open your eyes man. You are delusional if you think staying in the ACC is the right answer. How do you plan on competing with a 40-60 million dollar yearly deficit over South Carolina. That opens many doors for them. Like ending their donor club and turning it into 100% NIL funds.

Well it will take time to get this done. Still, all of us better have a "landing place" if we are successful, or things will go south in a hurry. Hopefully, there have been discussions and offers made to those leaving the acc.

ESPN simply CAN NOT shill on live television, and during the ACC championship game as well, that the ACC should be left out and expect their contract neutrality to hold any water going forward. As far as I see it, ESPN undid their own contract by actively shilling across it's many channels against the ACC when the ACC met all previous years metrics to get a playoff spot. The contract ESPN has with the ACC surely has clauses about "fair and balanced" coverage, if not, it certainly is implied.

ESPN is a tool of the SEC, OSU & Michigan to some degree...they almost ignored Texas, Oklahoma and Nebraska for years...most of this is really about Ole rich men's testosterone! That's why Florida Women's Teachers College is so out of place!
