Bringing up academics in deciding where Clemson should go is like deciding which steak house to eat at based on the tartar sauce they use.

or why even go to class at all. This is becoming an NFL minor league. School Presidents need to get it together and place graduation as a priority.

.... that academics are not among their top 20 priorities for athletes. School presidents set the requirements for the NCAA. All they've done in the past 50+ years is loosen the minimum requirements for athletes.

Heck, UNC even set up and entire department for the purpose of keeping athletes eligible ande the NCAA said that was within the rules.

You're not wrong, but this doesnt necessarily help Clemson. Assuming CU/FSU win their cases whats to stop the Big10 from bypassing Clemson altogether? UNC and Virginia are both larger schools, better academic prestige, from larger states with larger media markets? The SEC could grab FSU and NC State or V.Tech for the same reasons. Clemsons brand is strong, but to be a pessimist we are not fighing from a position of strength.

I believe we have more strength than we give us credit for. Clemson athletics as a whole would be a plus for any conference. Not sure academics plays as large of a part in this anymore. Can’t believe I just typed that out. Sad.
