Breaking News: It looks like its Louisville. CBS (Link)

I hope its not true. I prefer Connecticut or Navy. This sucks still a gaping hole in the footprint and no DC, or Baltimore market.

Here's the link: This was my last check of the night, had already gone to bed, but woke up.

Prefer Louisville over the others.

I agree.

UL imo has been the no brainer from the start.

I made a post over the summer that the ACC did not need to sleep on UL. Even if they are not #1 in regards to stealing from another conference or ND as a full, they are worthy of being in our 16 and now is the time to lock them down.

Louisville is a great add. I wonder how their revenue compared to WVU's, but I know they make more revenue and have a larger budget than Clemson. Their basketball program makes more money than UNC and they have a legitimate football team in a beautiful stadium in what I hear is a great city.

Here were my reasons I gave why we should add them:

What would UConn have done in the D.C. or Baltimore market? I hope you're not talking about Navy filling that spot.

Louisville seems like a real no-brainer. They're a very profitable athletic department and can only grow as a football power. I really hope that it is UL.

If true this is great news

Louisville is the best football add we could make.

If Navy is added to this conference we will be farther behind than ever. That is a joke.

Navy and UConn....

are you kidding me?

Please tell me what either of those add?

null

I would love this.

Gives us access to Kentucky in basketball. Brings in a building football program. Also keeps another diva basketball school out. I understand UL is a great basketball program but they have made a commitment to improving football.
