Braswell Enters Transfer Portal

USuC 2-year starter Braswell enters transfer portal. I think he would be worth a look for us. We lose Blackwell and this kid was really good for them this year. I know we have some really good inf talent waiting in the wings, but you can't downplay experience. This kid has experience in high pressure games and post season. Rumors are he doesn't like being asked to switch positions. He wants to play SS. He could fill a need for us and make USuC fans irate after Bakich works his magic in developing him even further.

I don’t know anything about the guy from the cacks but some here on Tnet have posted that Cannarella wants to play SS. I’d give him what he wants if true before promising it to a transfer.

Can almost guarantee he is doing the Tommy kid from NC State plan. Not only looking for a bag but a big bag. Look for him to be playing in a LSU uniform next year. Probably have been talking to him for months knowing them.

That may be true, but everything I've read says Braswell wants to play SS and Kingston wants him on 3rd. I'm not sure why, unless there's a more talented SS in the wings at USuC. I watched Braswell play against us, the LSU series and the Fla Super regional and he was really good at SS as well as at the plate. He may or may not be a fit for us, but I think he might be worth a look. An experienced SS that can hit definitely fills one of our needs. I love Cam, and have never seen him play SS, but watching his arm in CF leads me to believe he projects as a CF at the next level. I don't see above average arm talent that a MLB SS needs. In full disclosure he could easily prove me wrong.
