Unfortunately my fears proved true. He’s the only one on that panel talking sense. All these other SEC shills are just sickening to listen to. But honestly this just goes to show the entire source of the problem in my opinion, the entire mindset of appearance being greater than wins. Despite the heated rivalry, my heart bleeds for Florida State nation today. I just don’t see how you keep out an undefeated power 5 conference champion. What else can they possibly do? Just a sickening and sad thing to see, and absolutely wrong.

That presupposes that UGA is the best team in the country. I think both UW and UM are better. Imagine if Bama rolled their 3rd string qb out yesterday. Odds are they lose. I also remember Bama looking pretty shaky at times during the season including last week against a middling Auburn team. They needed a miracle to win that one. FSU would have their qb2 ready for the semis and would be a tough out. They still have a zero in the L column. Tough to do that these days.

No the best win of the year is Texas over Bama at Bama by double digits. That trumps Bamas win over georgia.

-Play in the big 10 or SEC?

Michigan had to beat #7 Ohio State
Washington beat #3 Oregon
Alabama beat #1 Georgia
Texas beat #5 Alabama

Texas is intentionally joining a more difficult conference, as is Oregon.

Not sure the winner of #1 vs #8 is not top 4.

This is definitely the best pro-bama argument I’ve seen, so props for that. I just still don’t see how you can get around the fact that Florida State was undefeated.
