Is it me, or does he seem like he's never satisfied with what DW4 does??? I don't like him. DW4 was beyond great today and this guy just isn't giving him credit. What's wrong with him????

O'Brien seems to get a lot of credit for his time with the Patriots "coaching" perhaps the best QB ever.

He did okay in State College, but I don't see a lot beyond that.

Some coaches are good at rebuilding, but can only take a program so far. Maybe that's what Coach O'Brien is.

Well, he wasn't in a great situation at Penn State and he wasn't there very long - dude that came after him seemed to do pretty feel with the players O'Brien recruited. Decided to go back to the NFL. Don't think he's been at Houston long enough to judge what he can do. DW seems to doing ok with him.

"He really can throw the football," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said after the game. "He's a very accurate passer. He's got big hands. He can really sling it. He's a very smart runner. Runner is not all about speed. It's about instincts and understanding how plays are being blocked and understanding the defense that you're seeing to kind of weave your way through."

"He sees the game pretty well," O'Brien said. "He's seeing a lot of different things: third-down blitzes for the first time, red-area things for the first time. I think he's making smart decisions."
