Cade will be ok this season

Don’t take much from spring game. But to me he did look more comfortable than last season. I think that Cade will pass for a lot of yards this season. But also have a lot of interceptions i think that what we have is a QB similar to Kyle Parker with a more humble demeanor. I can see Cade averaging 350-400Yds passing a game with 1-2 interceptions being the norm with him. 4500-5000 yds passing on the season is a real possibility with the weapons around him and a strong run game. Bottom line is Cade will be fine and Wesco is going to be an unstoppable catching the ball.

He only threw for 300 in 1 fbs game last year. 350-400 and 4,500 would be wonderful, but that expectation seems a little lofty.
Clemson offense has only thrown for 300 yards in 2 fbs games since 2020. Wake in 2022 and Miami in 2023. Hard to believe.

I’m very confident in the WR room. Wesco,Brown,Williams,stellato,Moore,Turner,Randall.
This WR group is deep and could be a strength and we get back to WRU. That’s where I’m thinking 4500yds becomes possible. Just we might have to except a couple interceptions along the way.

An interception on a 50-50 ball where the defender makes a better play than your receiver is very different than an interception where your QB over threw the receiver by 8 yards.
I have no problem with a QB trusting his receiver to out play the defender.
Watching the game yesterday, my comment to my cousin was...we're going to be ok if this group of receivers stay healthy.

Kyle was one of the nicest, most humble Clemson athletes I have known.Much more humble than Cade, the guy who decides to run a different play than what the coaches call at the end of a game

A strong running game? Which spring game where you wathcing? Our top three backs struggled to get back to the line of scrimmage regardless of who happened to be on the defense. Sure Matt Luke is going to be good. It did not show on Saturday. If Woods had played it would have been even more embarrassing. Most of the two deep had no problem finding their way into the backfield.

The team has too much talent especially on D to lose a ton of games.
Just being ok won’t get us where fans want us to be nor where Dabo has set expectations.
It’s also hard when teams who are worse than us can somehow still find a QB as good or better like the guy who transferred from A&M into GT last year.
That being said Cade closed out the year with W after W including the bowl. He’s already won big games. No reason to not start him. I also don’t think a loss to UGA is indicative.
By the numbers though Cade hasn’t shown anything that should make fans think he’s suddenly gonna be able to bust out a 4-5 TD game with like 350 yards either. Is what it is.

No he won’t he needs to transfer and we gotta fire Dabo because he’s really the secret offensive mastermind. Then hire everyone on TNET who have more football knowledge then John Madden they’ll get us back to the promise land.
