i judge people by their character...
have some really nice gay people in this neighborhood and I would trust them beyond trust in any situation
great individuals...high character individuals
i do hate being assumed a bigot because of what I do in the voting booth (and where I am from)
it gets old...and what you have is a backlash from people that feel the same way I do (it's more about politics imo)

Every person, Gay or Straight, can only have one of three reactions to those 4 verses. 1. Oh Crap... I'm in deep doo doo, I need help 2. Disbelief in God because we don't want to submit to him 3. Pat yourself on the back in self righteousness because you think you are pretty good at the list.
Of course Jesus teaches that we need to have reaction 1 when we realize who we really are and who God really is. And when we do, we realize we are in need of outside help and trying our best to obey the list so we can pat ourselves on the back just isn't good enough.

The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? 8 Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters. 9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
There are a lot of sins covered in this passage, not just homosexuality. Everyone has committed at least one of these sins in this passage.
