Christian Bale's movies are inspiring killings

Jul 20, 2012, 12:22 PM

Not really, I love Christian Bale but still I thought this was interesting. First the guy resembling Bane in the movie theater and now I'm hearing about this guy in L.A. who killed homeless people (Anybody seen American Psycho?)

if you thought Patrick Bateman was twisted in the movie, you'd be be shocked by what's in the book.

I'll probably read it. I never quite understood the ending of the movie, can you shed any light on that for me?

I actually had to stop reading the book because I was too grossed out. I may finish it at some point in the future, though.

My thoughts on the ending were that the Patrick Bateman identity was a fantasy brought on by his hatred of the things he had to do and most of the people he was around. He was just a normal, late '80s Wall Street guy, but what he really wanted to do was kill'em all.

Yeah. Twas all a fantasy.***
