Getting rid of Duke in the ACC

since you have to have a minimum average attendance of 15,000 every other year in order to maintain Division 1-A status. Could the rest of the ACC particularly Clemson and FSU not go to those away games and try to force them out of football. I don't want another NC school but ECU would be Better than Duke. they at least have 55,000 or so at the games.

The following schools have a higher average attendance than Duke. And none of these are hosting visitors anything like VT, FSU, and Clemson.

Appalachian State
James Madison
Montana
Yale

BC and WF arent much better. 3 ACC teams with less than 36K

Duke was also playing a home Basketball game against a nothing school (back when they started BBall a little earlier).

Clemson football fans easily outnumbered the Duke football fans 3 to 1 and you could hear the cheering from Cameron Indoor and I swear it was louder than anything I heard from their football fans.

That was when they had Spurrier! Think how much worse it probably is now.
