BBall team chemisty & leadership...............

Dec 2, 2014, 11:01 AM

Last night’s game was very difficult to watch……..I think our basketball team is struggling trying to find itself. IMO, there is no strong leader on the team. With KJ gone, it’s like everyone is looking at everyone else. Rod Hall is not a leader as this time. He should be and maybe the light will come on, and he will be as we get into conference play. But, for right now, he is not.

program are like a broken record. I've been hearing these same things for decades now and nothing ever changes except for the rare good season we have. I wish it was different.

The team us stuck in a time loop repeating the same thing again and again.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Leadership at the top

Dec 2, 2014, 11:24 AM

with Brownell is part of the issue. He isn't a winner. He doesn't show that passion to be successful here.

Dabo is a winner. The two are polar opposites and the results show. Purnell was a builder and actually showed passion during the game.

At least Brownell has a huge buyout and a couple of NIT wins to fall back on.

Brads first recruiting class was 5 players I think. The only one remaining is Hall. It would have been nice to still have TJ Sapp. I know Brad will never cheat. We all know of top schools that get busted for that. Do you want to be Kentucky and have a minor league NBA team that never graduates anyone other than the token players to help the GPA? I would say Give Brad this year and next to make it into the top 6 in the ACC. Then if in the bottom 4-6 he should go. His biggest mistake is two of the coaches that he hired are just not good.
