Before the season started if you were told Clemson would be 11-2 and ranked in the top 20 would your response be "I don't know what to think"

Clemson played well at Miami, just not good enough to win. They will also lose other games this season. This isn't John Wooden's UCLA.

Board needs to show some appreciation.

Any conference win is a great accomplishment and beating unc would be especially nice. But it is early yet and a single win or loss won’t tell the whole story. This Tiger team is as good as we have seen in a long time. I’m enjoying following them.

When you have to start season with 2 of the 1st 3 games at Miami, who was a Final 4 team last year, and Carolina who is one of the 2 or 3 best all time programs, your schedule is as tough as it gets. We may win and that would be awesome but if we lose, it is not the end of the season because the schedule gets easier.

But if the team does not win the games against tough opponents during the season then we know what happens at tournament time.

Yep, we have seen 1st hand how that goes, and it wasn't anything to be proud of. All the whining about how we were snubbed for the big dance, and we couldn't get past the first round of the NIT!!!

Exactly. If Clemson loses to UNC today, and the Tigers probably will lose, then Brownell's team ever better win the next four games.

We don't get into the Tournament and choke our first NIT game to basically the lowest seeded team in the event?

Last year we started HOT in ACC play, reaching 7-0 including a win over Duke. We know what happened after that, as February is not kind to CBB...a 3-game losing streak, morphing into losing 4-of-5 including losing to Louisville which was the lowest ranked team in the ACC in ages and ages, racking up yet ANOTHER Quad 4 loss.
