Basketball Fandom

Was just having a dumb conversation with my buddy and the question came up do you think there is a person who is a bigger Clemson Basketball fan than he is a Clemson a Football fan. Well do y'all think there is one?

I won't qualify if I think he is a bigger BB fan than a FB fan but from all I've seen ( and this is absolutely intended as a compliment) Clemtiger117 is the most loyal and supportive fan of BB. His loyalty has inspired me to be a better BB fan and I appreciate it!

Me... And here's why...

Don't get me wrong I love football but here is why I have always loved bball more....

1. From an early age, my dad would take me to the games pretty regularly. It became something we loved to do together. We would go to weeknight games and it made me feel special to get to stay up "late" and hang out with my dad. We would usually go to parcheesies (sp?) and then to the games. We weren't very good during my childhood/teen years (late 90's early 2000's) but it was always a thrill for me because it was me and dad. I now take my son with me (he's 3) and he already loves it

2. All wins seemed like big wins. Since we weren't very good almost all big games were upsets.

To this day, my greatest memory of athletics is beating #1 UNC during the 2001 season. Same day dale Earnhardt died.

Anyways, that's my reasoning
