Does anyone know if DW4's ever been "coached hard"?

For those unfamiliar with that phrase, it's sort of a code term for a confrontational coaching style where you're constantly cussing your players out, threatening, and focusing on the negative to bring the best out of your players (think Military and Muschamp).

This is the kind of coach Bill O'Brien is with the Texans. Dabo seems more of a polar opposite. We've all seen him get on his players, but by in large he's a positive reinforcer who likes to pump his players up more than breaking them down.

Watson's such a likeable guy and has probably been the best player on his teams for maybe the last 7 years. It's hard to envision him really getting his tail chewed out. I'm sure Dabo has gotten on him at some point over the last 3yrs, but can any of us really even visualize that since he speaks so glowingly of DW4 in front of the cameras? I don't know enough about Streeter to know if he's the yeller and screamer type.

Coach Morris might be the only guy that I could see that may have coached Watson hard at times, but their relationship is almost more like father/son than player/coach. It's nothing like what he's going to get from O'Brien. It'll be interesting to see how he handles it.

According to some Clemson media, Clemsons practices aren't exactly a walk in the park. I've heard TCI say on multiple occasions that although the staff builds up the players and doesn't publically chew them out that some of the practices can be pretty intense with lots of profanity from some coaches

Awful thread. Don't waste your time reading this whole post.***
