I've actually treated them as pets.

I'd rub them, sing them songs and would even take them for walks sometimes. I'd try to keep them alive and in place for AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.

Lol, then one day I murdered them all and ate their insides in a nice stew with corn, potatoes shrimp and various seasonings.
